Patriot Spray Foam Insulation

Your AC isn't broken. Your insulation is.

Climbing electric bills, rooms that never feel right, an AC that runs all day. Most of the time, it's not your AC. It's the heat coming through your attic and walls. Spray foam stops it before it gets inside, so the temperature you set is what you actually feel. We do this work every day, in homes all over Massachusetts.

Sound familiar?

You're not imagining it. We walk into homes like this every week.

Most Massachusetts homes we walk into have the same three or four problems: a couple of rooms that never feel right, an AC that runs all day, and an electric bill that climbs every summer. The cause is almost always the same. Here's what we see in homes every week.

Bills that climb every summer

Eversource and National Grid keep raising rates. A leaky attic makes it worse. Your AC runs longer, works harder, and the bill shows it every month.

Rooms that never feel right

One bedroom stays hot all summer. The room over the garage is its own weather system. The office above the kitchen feels muggy. Heat doesn't leak in evenly, so some rooms always lose.

Sticky, humid air inside

New England humidity finds every gap in your house. Your AC can dry out the air inside, but it can't keep up with damp air leaking in through attic vents, rim joists, and wall cavities.

AC running 18+ hours a day

If your AC barely shuts off during a heat wave, it's not just costing you on the bill. You're wearing out a $6,000 to $8,000 system every summer, just to make up for a leaky house.

What we install

Spray foam, where homes need it most.

We've been installing open-cell and closed-cell spray foam in Massachusetts homes since 2016, mostly in attics, crawlspaces, walls, and commercial buildings. The right foam in the right spot is what separates a house that fights you every summer from one that holds the temperature you set.

Attic Spray Foam

For most Massachusetts homes, the attic is where 60 to 70 percent of comfort and energy problems start. We seal the roof deck or the attic floor with the right type of foam, so summer heat stops at the roof and winter heat stays where you can feel it.

  • Stops attic heat before it hits your bedrooms
  • Lower AC and heating bills, every month
  • Quieter, more even temperatures upstairs

Crawlspace Spray Foam

Cold floors, musty smells, and summer humidity in the basement almost always start in the crawlspace. We seal it off with closed-cell foam so warm air stays in, damp air stays out, and your floors stop feeling like a refrigerator.

  • Warmer floors, year-round
  • Stops humidity, mold growth, and pests
  • Cleaner air rising into your living space
Most popular

Residential Spray Foam

One stubborn room or every wall in the house, we walk through it with you and tell you where foam will make a real difference and where it won't. Most homeowners see a lower bill on the next utility cycle, and the comfort difference shows up the day we finish.

  • Comfort in every room, immediately
  • Up to 40% lower heating and cooling bills
  • Resale value goes up with every job

Commercial & Pole Barns

Warehouses, offices, retail, pole barns. Any space you're heating or cooling without proper insulation is costing you money every month. We install around your operating hours and leave the worksite cleaner than we found it.

  • Lower monthly heating and cooling costs
  • Comfortable space for staff and customers
  • Installs scheduled around your hours

Insulation Replacement

Wet insulation, rodent damage, or settled fiberglass that hasn't done its job in 20 years. If what's up there isn't doing its job, we remove it cleanly, prep the space, and install foam that actually works.

  • Full removal and haul-away
  • Clean, sealed worksite when we leave
  • Comfort and savings the day we finish

New Construction & First-Time Foam

New build, addition, or first-time spray foam upgrade. You only insulate the cavity once, so it has to be right the first time. We work with homeowners and builders across MA to get the right type and thickness in before the drywall closes things up.

  • Right type and thickness, first time
  • Licensed, certified, insured crews
  • Coordinates with your GC and trades
About Patriot

We do this every day, in homes all over Massachusetts.

Patriot Spray Foam was started in 2016 by a Massachusetts spray foam installer who had spent years on other people's crews and decided to run things his own way. Today, he's still on the job site, alongside the same crew that goes from one Massachusetts house to the next all summer long.

We don't subcontract and we don't ship work out. The crew that walks your attic on day one is the same crew that finishes the install. That's why neighbors keep referring us to neighbors, and it's why the calendar fills up every summer.

Owner on every job

The same owner you talk to on day one is on the job site on install day. No managers, no middlemen, no game of telephone.

Honest inspections

If foam isn't the right call for your situation, we'll tell you. The free inspection is genuinely free, not a sales pitch in disguise.

Clean install, every time

Drop cloths, masked surfaces, vacuum on the way out. Your house should look better when we leave than when we arrived.

One number to call

Question after the job? Issue six months later? Same phone, same person picks up. No service ticket queue.

What summer feels like after Patriot.

Google review

"Our kids' bedrooms were 10° hotter than the rest of the house every summer. Patriot foamed the attic and now the upstairs finally feels like the rest of the house. The Eversource bill dropped almost $200 the next billing cycle, and we already know we'll be cozy in winter too."

Mark & Jenna R. Worcester, MA
Google review

"Cape humidity used to soak right into the house. After they sealed the crawl space, the AC actually keeps up, the musty smell is gone, and our floors aren't ice cold anymore. Patriot was easy to talk to, fair-priced, and clean. Worth every dollar."

Dale W. Barnstable, MA
Google review

"Got three quotes. Patriot wasn't the cheapest, but they were the only crew that walked the whole house with me and showed me where the heat was coming in. Family-owned, straight answers, no pressure. House finally feels right in both seasons."

FAQ

What Mass homeowners ask us first.

Is spray foam insulation worth it?

Yes. Spray foam is one of the most effective insulation solutions available because it seals air leaks while also insulating. It improves comfort, reduces drafts, increases energy efficiency, and helps protect against moisture issues.

Can insulation help lower my energy bills?

Yes. Properly installed insulation reduces energy loss throughout the home and lets your heating and cooling systems run more efficiently. The result is lower monthly bills and more consistent indoor temperatures.

Does insulation help with moisture and drafts?

Yes. High-quality insulation, especially spray foam, seals air leaks and reduces moisture intrusion. That improves indoor comfort and helps protect framing and finishes from condensation.

Is old insulation a problem?

Older insulation often loses effectiveness over time, especially in older homes. Outdated materials may no longer provide proper thermal protection. Upgrading can significantly improve comfort, efficiency, and overall home performance.

Do you offer residential and commercial insulation services?

Yes. Patriot Spray Foam Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services throughout Massachusetts.
